This is a new role to help drive them forward with their data and compliance standards.
As their DPO, some of your key areas of responsibility will include:- Ensuring the Group complies with all relevant data privacy laws and requirements
- Creating and overseeing the company's data protection frameworks and controls.
- Working with colleagues to develop a culture that values data governance and compliance
- Acting as the key point of contact for internal colleagues, our customers and external regulators.
- Developing and delivering training
- Processing Subject Access Requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring deadlines are adhered to
- Informing and advising colleagues on their obligations to comply with the UK GDPR and other data protection laws
- Supporting and advising colleagues completing key documentation (Data Processing / Sharing Agreements (DPAs / DSAs and DPIAs and Legitimate Impact Assessments)
About youTheyre looking for a Data Protection professional who is accredited in data protection and risk management.You will have in depth knowledge of GDPR, have excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
